Lorna Proulx
LAWYER
Ms. Proulx has 30+ years in the field of Human Resources. Her experience includes; staff supervision; performance management; attendance management; discipline and terminations at all levels of staff; development of best practice policies and procedures; collective bargaining; mediation; grievance and arbitration; investigations of bullying and harassment complaints; providing advice and direction to senior levels of staff including Council members; development and delivery of training programs; job evaluation; job description development; recruitment; compensation and benefits program development; and overseeing health and safety.
Ms. Proulx completed her HR training through Sheridan College. In addition, she has received certificates from Queens University in Organizational Development and in Mediation. She also has a Masters in Municipal Management through UOIT (currently called Ontario Tech). Ms. Proulx has also served as a Director on the Board for the Ontario Municipal Human Resources Association.
