MARTIN FRENCH

Martin French is an experienced investigator both in law enforcement and that of the insurance industry. His expertise spans 40 yrs.

During Martin’s 31yrs with the Toronto Police Service he served in a variety of units and divisions throughout his career reaching the rank of Sergeant (Detective) and received many letters and commendations for good solid, innovative police work and service. Several of these units that Martin worked in, included the Intelligence Unit, Headquarters Major Crime Unit, Sexual Assault Squad and Divisional investigative units; a good number of these investigations conducted were multi-jurisdictional investigations. Many of which started from raw intelligence and culminated in the successful prosecution of the persons responsible.

As a result of Martin’s time within the law enforcement field he has developed, thorough interviewing, reporting and documentation skills and has an excellent knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada.

After retiring from the police, Martin started working for a major insurance company in their drive to fight fraudulent property, automobile or healthcare related claims. During this time Martin consistently produced accurate, detailed and timely reports. He again utilized his organizational skills in coordinating several outside agencies and experts in the fight against insurance fraud. Martin has a vast experience in conducting Examinations Under Oath of claimants and the interviewing of witnesses.

Martin during his years as an investigator has completed numerous courses on a variety of investigative related topics and is highly organized, resourceful, motivated, independent, reliable with a high degree of integrity.
